Building Your Pre-Employment Portfolio
The Career Center will offer you a plethora of supportive services to guide you along the way, however, you have to put much of the work and effort in yourself. In order for a potential employer to get to know you, you will need to first get to know yourself and know the established and accepted means of communicating this knowledge.
At the end of each module will be an "Assignment" of which you will be asked to complete. These documents, which incluse a sample cover letteer, resume and other items, must be completed, printed and assembled into a portfolio prior to your first meeting with a Career Center representative.
